2026 International Conference on Surface Engineering will be held in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province from October 16 to 18, 2026. The conference is hosted by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), and jointly organized by Yangzhou University, China University of Mining and Technology, and the Surface Engineering Institution of CMES.
The theme of this conference is "Green Surface Engineering Science and Technology for Global Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals". It will closely align with hot topics in the international community, including: environmental protection and green manufacturing, new energy and new materials, high-end equipment manufacturing, and the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. The conference aims to build a high-level international exchange platform in the field of surface engineering, promote the international collaborative development of surface engineering and high-end intelligent manufacturing, and facilitate experts, scholars and enterprise representatives from relevant fields to share the latest research findings, technological breakthroughs and future development trends worldwide. Meanwhile, it will focus on demonstrating to international peers China's innovative progress in surface engineering and high-end green intelligent manufacturing, leading the high-quality development of China's surface engineering profession.
