CMES has made remarkable contribution to the promotion of the education, training and accreditation of the mechanical engineering personnel.
It falls into three parts as bellows:
1, CMES undertakes course accreditation of mechanical engineering education. Under the guidance of CAST, CMES has been undertaking this task since 2006.
2, CMES undertakes the accreditation of professional engineering qualifications. CMES collaborates with foreign engineering organizations to help its engineer members acquire the internationally recognized qualifications.
3, CMES has made great contribution to the continuing educations for its members. Various training classes to CMES engineers are organized. For years, professional training in welding, non-destructive testing, failure analysis and industrial engineering has been popular among our engineers in their work.
